We travelled from Los Angeles to New Jersey on a 4 month rental covering about 17000 miles.
Adventures on Wheels has provided a good honest service for a very reasonable rate.
Everything from pickup, any queries we had on the road, to the dropoff went smoothly.
The car itself was fine for long distance travelling and for a multi-drop long term rental you simply cannot come close to the value for money service that you will recieve.

Driving across America supporting two people on a tandem was a challenge especially as I had to do back-tracking, campsite-seeking, shopping and other activities, often on minor roads. The van was superb. It never let us down, was easy to drive, plenty of room for all our luggage, bikes too, when necessary, and of course all the food and camping gear. I had not driven an automatic for such a long distance before either (over 5000 miles) and it was also extremely comfortable. It was hot when it was needed in the west and cool when we hit extraordinary high temperatures in the mid-west and eastern states. A great choice for our adventure.

Thanks Dominik for your efficiency in responding quickly to my emails when we were setting up the deal particularly when we found that we needed to change our choice of vehicle. The Dodge Caravan proved totally reliable and turned out to be an excellent choice as a “sag” wagon for our adventure. It proved to be a sanctuary from the cold and the heat. It has been a pleasure to do business with you and I would happily recommend your company to anyone contemplating a similar adventure.

I wouldn’t have wanted to do the trip without the support of Jane and the SAG wagon. Most of the young cyclists we met along the route were self-supporting and they were the true pioneers. For me it was enough to do the cycling and some days that was almost more than enough. Through the snow, rain and hail we looked forward to a dry stop in the van and a cup of tea, in the heat of Kansas we found respite from the sun and in the humidity of Kentucky and Virginia Jane sought out air-conditioned cafes for shelter and cool drinks. As the day wore on and our energy waned the best thing was to spot the van and know that there was a campsite or motel located, tents erected or a room booked and the beginnings of a meal already embled. Thank you, SAG Woman.
We really enjoyed our trip from San Francisco to New Jersey and spent loads of nights camping in National Parks that our trusty mini van rental brought us to. It was nice to find a company that would let us rent from point to point without a huge one way charge. I especially liked when we would picnic by sitting on the tailgate with the back door as a shade. Really nice and trouble free.

Fantastic road trip with 'seb' (2003 Chrysler Sebring). 11359 miles without a worry- LA, San Diego, Pheonix, Sedona, Grand Canyon, Salt Lake City, San Fran, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Banff, Jasper, South Dakota, Chicago, Niagara Falls, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Boston, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Philadelphia and New York! What a trip.
